Yesterday afternoon and evening Southwestern Ontario was under a Tornado Watch alert. Through the night there were severe thunderstorms, with heavy rain and high winds. It was warm and muggy when I opened this morning!
Visiting the banding lab this morning was a group of day-campers that were spending their day at Ruthven. Unfortunately, we only had a few birds to show them. Despite the slow day, the highlight was banding the Veery.
