MAPS – June 15th, 2007

The second session of MAPS took place today under sunny skies. There were few mosquitoes, reasonable temperatures, and a goodly number of birds around. Hardly anything to complain about at all really. But I’m sure I’ll find something…

Lots of butterflies in evidence including Inornate Ringlet, Little Wood Satyr, and Great Spangled Fritillary, and a number of odes, such as Midland Clubtail and Powdered Dancer.

  1. Inornate Ringlet is the common form of the Common Ringlet common to this area. Commonly. 🙂
