Another good day (beautiful weather!) with lots of birds and interesting/interested visitors. Audrey Heagy was the “bander-in-charge” leaving me the time to do a leisurely stroll along the trails under the disguise of doing a census. Christie Macdonald showed up with uncle and brother in tow (Uncle Ron is a pretty keen birder!) and we had 2 banders in training: Elisabeth Van Stam and Chris McIntosh – in time they will be a big help to the operation.
We also entertained 3 delightful ladies who had come all the way from Toronto and gave themselves front row seats just behind the banders so they wouldn’t miss anything. And we had some nice birds so they got a pretty good show.
