[May 21st Update:
During the afternoon after the station had been closed an American Woodcock and 4 young were found in the valley behind the station. This is the first record of American Woodcock this year at Ruthven.]

May 22nd

A very quiet day birdwise with warm temperatures and no wind. The lull allowed for some needed net maintenance.
The ladies who visited today left a camera case behind. Please contact us through the blog to facilitate its recovery.
