It was a cold start to the morning. The thermometer at the lab read 3 degrees, and there was patchy frost on the ground and on net 4!
Bird activity was less notable than the previous few days, but diversity remains good. Cedar Waxwing numbers continue to build, and they should soon be descending in the bushes to feast on the plentiful grapes. No new birds for the season were encountered.
The non birding highlight of the day came in the form of a Grey Treefrog that decided to spend its morning in the banding lab.
