Sept 23rd – Fern Hill
There wasn’t too much movement today other than a noticeable push of Blue Jays through the early part of the morning. It got hot very quickly. There is a patio being put up around the banding lab so there was a lot of construction outside of the banding lab today. Only caught a couple of birds during bird club, so only Pari came during recess. BUT! During Katherine’s class we recruited a new member to bird club! So hopefully a new face will be popping up there…
Totals:
3 Blue Jays
4 American Robins
1 Gray Catbird
1 Northern Cardinal
1 House Finch
Total banded: 10
Et: 23 spp
