Yesterday we were fast out of the blocks but today it slowed down into more of a jog. I think that rain north of Lake Ontario during the night may have grounded a number of migrants with the result that we didn’t have the numbers or variety that we saw yesterday. Still, it was a fun day and a good “learning pace” day….for everyone (except maybe for Joshua and Amy who spent a few sweat-filled hours cutting down Black Walnuts in the Butterfly Meadow).
