Meteorological consternation reigned this morning as Ruthven Rick, that lovable furry-faced prognosticator, got mixed readings. At 9:30 he could NOT see his shadow; at 10:30 he could.
What does this mean for the millions of farmers, gardiners, and other land users/abusers who count on his predictions to get ready for the planting season or simply to plan holidays?
Well….it means: don’t count on rodents to run your life!
