It was little quieter today than yesterday, but still an interesting mix of birds about. The winds were calm to start, but by 11am it got quite gusty, and blew one of the nets down….

This year’s hatch of Canada geese goslings are swimming on the river, very young, still fluffy and yellow.
It was spitting rain on my drive home, so that timing was perfect!

Banded 30:
2 Orchard Orioles – young males, olive to yellow, with a black mask and bib.
