The weather was fairly nasty today, but we were able to open the nets for a short period of time this morning, and then again after the rain ended. Despite the shortened netting period we still processed 82 birds (59 new, 23 recaps). By far the banding highlight was a MARSH WREN. I looked at the banding charts and it looks like this is only the 2nd one ever banded at Ruthven. Very exciting!
